How does it all work?

Red Chair Photography specializes in sexy boudoir photography and intimate portraiture for women aged 18 and over (you will be asked to provide a valid government issued photo identification).

Generally the studio staff prefers to work one on one with our clients, simply because an audience makes you feel more self-conscious. If you must bring someone for moral support, please have them drive you to the studio and pick up after your session.

You will need to bring your own outfits such as lingerie, shoes and accessories to your session. Make sure to select outfits that suit your personality and body shape as well as complement your skin tone. If you need help with outfit ideas, or would like custom wardrobe styling, please contact the studio.


How do I schedule a session?

The quickest way to schedule an appointment for your session is online. All boudoir photography, model portfolio and headshots packages can be purchased online. You can also contact the studio to book your session over the phone. Please have your credit card ready when calling so that you can secure the date and time of your session.


Is a deposit or pre-payment required to schedule a session?

Yes, a 50% scheduling fee is required to schedule your session. The fee is non-refundable and applied to your full session total. The remainder of your session fee is due at the time of your session and can be paid in cash, check, Visa or MasterCard.

At the time the scheduling fee is paid, Red Chair Photography shall reserve the date and time agreed upon, and not make any other reservations or accept any other clients for said date and time. For this reason, in the event that you may need to cancel the session for any reason, all monies paid shall be retained by Red Chair Photography in order to offset the loss of business.


What if I need to reschedule my session?

Our seven day reschedule policy allows you to plan your session with flexibility and peace of mind. If you need to reschedule, you must contact the studio seven days prior to your session. Should you need to reschedule your session within seven days, a $100 reschedule fee will be applied to your balance due. You may reschedule once and your new session date must be within one year from your original session date.

If reschedule notice is not received within this timeframe, the studio retains the full scheduling fee. The same applies to no-shows.


Do you offer make-up application or hair styling?

Yes, based on your session selection, our professional make-up artist will provide full make-up application and hair styling as part of your session to match the style you are going for and create the look that you want. Of course, this includes false eye lashes!


Can the photos from my session be airbrushed or retouched?

Yes, every photo that you order will be fully airbrushed (retouched) to magazine quality at no additional charge.

Our perfected Digital Body Lift technique will give your photos that extra “oomph” that you may want before showing anyone. This includes small nips and tucks to create gorgeous curves, cellulite removal, stretch mark removal and breast lift.

All images include the “You 2.0” treatment which removes blemishes, smoothes out skin, evens skin tone. You will always, look like you, just enhanced! Special enhancements, such as tattoo removal, may not be covered as part of standard retouching.


Do I have to be naked to be sexy?

No, the photography style is completely up to your comfort level. We will always ensure your total comfort before the session begins in a consultation and during the entire photo experience.


Do I have to know how to model for my session?

No, we bring out your sexy side by directing those that want coaching how to stand, move, where to look, you name it! We have helped hundreds of women feel like the seductress they really are. Experience has taught our staff the best way for make-up to look on camera, the best way to pose different body types and how to help everyday women, with no experience, capture the look they want.


How do I prepare for my session?

We will review all the details with you over the phone prior to your session day. We will also email you our special tips on how to prepare for your session.


Do I need to arrive early for my session?

No, please arrive no more than five minutes prior to your session time to allow other clients privacy.


What kind of keepsakes or gifts can I order?

The images from your session can be orders as individual prints in a variety of sizes, canvas wraps, custom designed photo books, calendars, comp cards, headshots and more. Do you have a vision? Just ask if we can make it happen!


How will I get my order?

We ship via FedEx or UPS and signature may be required to ensure proper delivery of your order.


What is the refund policy?

Due to the custom nature of photography, the session, all orders and any keepsakes are non-refundable. You have the opportunity to review any retouching and custom designs before going to print.


Will the photos from my session be used on the website?

No, not without your written permission. All the photos displayed on this website are used with written permission from our clients. We value being known as a trusted studio where even the most discerning clients can let loose.
